Amazing Race 2013

This was my first time to join ‘Amazing Race’ in my life. My group mates and facilities were all from the ‘Random Melaka Trip’ gang.

Keen Yan was our facility, and other 5 people including me formed Team 5. We gathered at Audi 4 and there were 11 groups were joining this event. ‘Amazing Race’ started by asking 4 IQ questions to every group. The first clue was distributed according to the order of group which answered all questions correctly. Our group was the 6th team to get the first clue.

The first mission was finding the SMALL orange sticker on the conopy walk to Monash University. The conopy walk was freaking long and all of us were tired in walking and running on the bridge!

The second mission was taking photo with certain post after walked around cafeteria, library and student centre according the clue.
The third mission was to pass the cup on our head among our team. It was hard because of the strong wind, hence we chose penalty after failed to complete it at first round.

The forth mission was every team mates ate orange at cafeteria. I’m sure that girls in our team never want to show their picture in this game to others because it will ruin their image!

The fifth mission was two of the team mates (i.e. Kyle and Sylvia) drawing the picture according to what other team mates (i.e. Musthaq, KL and me) told them. Luckily, our topic for this session was easy because it required us to draw Manchester United’s logo! Although I am die-hard Liverpool fans, I still managed to assist them in finished drawing the picture.

The last mission was each person had to choose section out of 5 requirements, which were mute (Sylvia), blind (Kyle), two person legs tied up into 3 legs (KL and Sylvia), one person’s leg tied up by rope (myself) and another person’s hand tied up (Musthaq). Musthaq was our leader in leading us to the office of A-level in south building from graduation centre. We were walking and jumping to the our destination, while Keen Yan ‘stole’ orange juice which placed nicely outside the Audi 7 for us to drink it. Thank you!

The results revealed! We were the team No.6 to reach destination! It reached my target which was finished at the top six.

After having these tiring game sessions, we went to Garden in Sunway Pyramid for our dinner. As usual, we have some ‘deep and sick’ talk during the dinner. Overall, we were tired but it was really memorable memories for us after the Melaka Trip. I am definitely waiting for our next event/outings!

After games.
